Scope

This standard specifies the phased array ultrasonic testing method for steam turbine welded diaphragms and the evaluation of the test results. This standard is applicable to phased array ultrasonic testing of main welds during the manufacturing, installation and maintenance of steam turbine welded partitions. This standard does not apply to the testing of austenitic steel welded partitions
