This standard specifies the safety, construction and performance requirements for thermoelectric flame monitoring devices, controlled by a thermocouple, hereinafter referred to as "devices", intended for use in appliances using gaseous fuels. It also determines the test procedures that allow verification of conformity to these requirements, as well as the information necessary for the buyer and the user. This standard applies to devices with nominal coupling diameter up to and including 50 DN that can be fed with one or more gases of the 1st, 2§ and 3rd family. This standard does not apply to thermocouples.
