This document defines a zero-carbon data center, stipulates the technical requirements for zero-carbon data centers in each stage of planning, site selection, design, procurement, construction, operation and maintenance, dismantling and recycling, and clarifies the carbon emissions of each link. Emissions calculation methods and corresponding technical requirements for achieving a zero-carbon data center are proposed. The physical space of the zero-carbon data center defined in this document is limited to a single building or building group that directly supports the data center functions and the campus scope corresponding to the data center functions. This standard applies to the entire life cycle process of zero-carbon data center construction.
