This document applies to cold-formed straight seam welded square steel pipes and rectangular steel pipes (hereinafter referred to as square and rectangular pipes) for building structures. Square and rectangular tubes produced by drawing, extruding, bending, etc. can also be used as a reference. The square and rectangular tubes specified in this document mainly use high-frequency resistance welding, and other welding methods can also be used.
