Scope: This document specifies the connection size and clearance area between the tractor and the trailer of the articulated steering device of the agricultural semi-trailer, and also specifies the maximum allowable force at the connection of the articulated steering device. This document is only applicable for use with GB/T 19408.5, which specifies a spherical (mechanical) connection device with a nominal diameter of 80 mm. This document does not apply to the verification of the mechanical strength of the articulated steering device connection, nor does it apply to the mechanical connection device; this document does not include the technical requirements for the articulated steering device itself.
