Scope

This standard specifies the technical requirements and inspection and acceptance of load-bearing welded structures with wall thickness greater than 3mm in grain and oil processing machinery. This standard is applicable to manual arc welding, submerged arc automatic welding, semi-automatic welding and carbon dioxide gas shielded welding of low carbon steel, low alloy steel and stainless steel in grain and oil processing machinery above 0℃. This standard does not apply to the welding of Class I and II pressure vessels.
