These requirements do not cover portable cord-connected hydromassage equipment@ which is covered by the Standard for Personal Hygiene and Health Care Appliances@ UL 1431@ or hydrotherapy tubs@ which are covered by the Standard for Medical Electrical Equipment@ Part 1: General Requirements for Safety@ UL 60601-1. The majority of the requirements in this Standard address complete hydromassage bathtubs@ including field-installed accessories.
