This standard establishes the preparation of a technical report (approval) for the production and use in technology of new and modernized fuels, oils, lubricants and special liquids. The standard applies to petroleum products recommended for wide use in the operation of various types of equipment:
——fuels (except for rocket, solid, gaseous fuels, fuels for domestic needs, lighting kerosene and boiler and furnace fuels, excluding brands of fuel oil used in the operation of ship power plants) ;
——aviation, motor, turbine, compressor, transmission and refrigeration oils;
——plastic anti-friction, sealing, conservation lubricants;
——special shock-absorbing, hydraulic, cooling, anti-icing, recoil and brake fluids;
——working-preservation and conservation materials (oils, lubricants, inhibited film-forming petroleum compounds and oil-soluble corrosion inhibitors)
