T/CPASE MT002-2016 Testing method with external variable frequency driving for the protection device’s action against excessive speed and unintentional reversal of the travel direction of escalators and moving walks (English Version)
This test uses external frequency conversion technology to change the speed or running direction of the escalator or moving walkway drive host, causing the escalator or moving walkway to overspeed or simulate a non-operated reversal state, check the action of the working brake and additional brake, and collect the corresponding information in real time. The indicator parameters are used to check and judge whether the effectiveness of the overspeed and non-manipulation reversal protection devices meets the requirements of corresponding safety technical regulations and standards.
