- This standard specifies the accuracy terms, grades and tolerance values for unassembled bevel gears, hypoid gears and their components. That is, the terminology, hierarchical structure, and many values that specify the accuracy of this shape. This standard provides a unified tolerance scale for both supply and demand parties and defines 10 accuracy levels, from level 2 to level 11, with the accuracy gradually decreasing. 5.4 specifies the tolerance calculation formula for gear accuracy and its scope of application.
