This standard specifies a method for calculating the heat transfer coefficient of window and door units consisting of translucent and/or opaque infills installed in a frame with or without blinds. This standard covers:
——various types of fillings [glass or plastic, single-layer or multi-layer glazing (including double-glazed windows); ordinary glass and glass with low-emission coatings; with an interglass space filled with air or other gases];
——opaque fillings of window or door blocks;
——different types of frame materials (wood, plastic, metal with and without thermal break, metal, with point pin connectors or made of any combination of materials);
——if necessary, additional thermal resistance created by various types of closed blinds or awnings, depending on their air permeability
