This document specifies the method for the determination of sulfur-containing amino acids in food using an automatic amino acid analyzer (ninhydrin post-column derivatization ion exchange chromatography). This document is suitable for the determination of sulfur-containing amino acids in food, including three amino acids: cystine, cysteine and methionine.
