- This standard specifies the headspace/gas chromatography-mass spectrometry for the determination of trichlorofluoromethane (CFC-11) and 2,2-dichloro-1,1,1-trifluoroethane (HCFC-123) in liquid refrigerants. Law. This standard is applicable to the determination of the mass fraction of CFC-11 and HCFC-123 in liquid refrigerants, but is not applicable to the determination of the purity of CFC-11 and HCFC-123. When the sampling amount is 0.5 g, the method detection limits of CFC-11 and HCFC-123 are 0.5% and 0.4% respectively, and the lower determination limits are 2.0% and 1.6% respectively.
