- Scope
- This SAE Standard covers rubber hose assemblies using fittings specified in the appropriate associated slash sheet (SAE J1754-2) for use in hydraulic systems using petroleum based hydraulic fluids with working pressures of 21 MPa or less and working temperatures of -40 degrees C minimum and +100 degrees C maximum. For the purpose of conversion and substitution, hose assemblies rated at 21 MPa shall be considered totally interchangeable with hose assemblies previously rated at 3 000 psi.
