- This standard specifies the terms and definitions, classification and labeling, materials, requirements, marking, packaging, transportation and storage requirements for heavy ion filter membranes with nominal pore sizes of 0.22 μm to 15 μm for medical infusion and injection equipment. This standard applies to heavy ion filter membranes made of polyethylene terephthalate (PET) and polycarbonate (PC).
