- This standard puts forward the general requirements for self-monitoring of pollutant discharge units in the steel industry and coking chemical industry, the basic content and requirements for the development of monitoring plans, information recording and reporting. This standard is applicable to the monitoring of water and gas pollutants and noise emitted by pollutant discharge units in the steel industry and coking chemical industry during the production and operation stage, as well as the impact on the quality of the surrounding environment. This standard does not apply to self-monitoring of iron ore mining and ferroalloy production processes in steel production enterprises. The self-monitoring requirements for self-owned thermal power generating units (factories) and supporting power boilers of pollutant discharge units in the iron and steel industry and coking chemical industry shall be implemented in accordance with HJ820.
