- This standard applies to control and measuring points made of polymer or composite materials used in electrochemical protection (ECP) systems of underground structures and intended to monitor corrosion protection and ECP parameters, switching of individual elements of the ECP system, designation of pipeline routes and other metal underground structures and communications. This standard specifies the general technical requirements for control and measuring points made of polymeric or composite materials, as well as the methods and means necessary for testing to confirm compliance with their technical and operational characteristics.
