Scope: This document provides guidance on the definition of the IEC Common Data Dictionary (IEC CDD) concepts used to describe the classes and properties submitted to update the content of the dictionary version. This includes: --- a basic understanding of the key concepts and procedures used in the IECCDD; --- binding references to control the quality of the dictionary data content; --- access to in-depth guidance on the dictionary-related documents (see Chapter 2 and Appendix D).
