Scope

This standard specifies a method for the determination of virginicin M1 content in feed by liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry. This standard is applicable to the determination of virginicin M1 content in compound feeds, concentrated feeds and additive premixed feeds. The detection limit of virginiamycin in this method is 2 ug/kg, and the quantification limit is 7 ug/kg.
