Scope

This document specifies the models, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging and storage of equipotential carpets used for ground potential maintenance of power transmission and transformation equipment. This document is applicable to carpets used to protect workers from step voltage during ground potential maintenance operations of power transmission and transformation equipment.
