Scope

This standard specifies the technical requirements for site selection, construction of cutting beds, cutting period, preparation of cuttings, post-cutting management, transplantation and nursery, seedling management, pest and disease control, and nursery release of Forsythia japonica. This standard is applicable to the vegetative propagation of Forsythia chrysanthemum and to the cultivation of Forsythia chrysanthemum seedlings using twig cuttings under full light intermittent spray conditions in Jiangsu area.
