This part of GB/T 1147 specifies the technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, signs, packaging, transportation and storage of small and medium power internal combustion engines. This part is applicable to small and medium power internal combustion engines (hereinafter referred to as internal combustion engines) used in road vehicles, ships, agricultural tractors, forestry machinery, construction machinery, generator sets, and drainage and irrigation machinery. Other small and medium power internal combustion engines for which there is no suitable standard currently available can also be implemented as a reference.
