- This document stipulates the ordering content, size, shape, weight, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, marking and quality certificates for steel used in oilfield drilling tools. This document applies to hot-rolled round steel with a nominal diameter not greater than 300mm and hot-forged round steel with a nominal diameter not greater than 600mm (hereinafter referred to as round steel).
