- This document gives the set of environmental parameters and their severity classification that products are subjected to during transportation, loading and unloading. This document considers the most commonly used modes of transportation and loading and unloading, which mainly include the following; ——Road transportation: cars, trucks; Rail transportation: trains and trams; Water transportation, inland and ocean transportation: ships; Air transportation: aircraft , Jet aircraft, propeller aircraft, helicopters, one by one loading and unloading methods: cranes, transport elevators, aerial cableways. Personnel handling; 163-a trolley. This document specifies the environmental conditions that the product may encounter during transportation, loading and unloading. If the product is packaged, the environmental conditions apply to the packaged product. If the product is not packaged, the environmental conditions apply to the product. Environmental conditions for storage are given in IEC60721-3-1.
