This standard specifies the evaluation requirements, evaluation methods and evaluation reports for unstable operating noise of household refrigerators (including refrigeration-freezers, refrigerators, and freezers). This standard applies to the noise evaluation of household refrigerators (hereinafter referred to as refrigerators) that are assembled at the factory, use motor-driven compressors to obtain cooling effects, and use natural or forced convection of air for cooling.
