- This document specifies the dimensions and characteristics of the interface area on the sole of a snowboard boot and the portion of the boot spindle that engages the interface to ensure a secure connection to the snowboard binding. This document does not cover other devices that may exist to secure a snowboard boot to a snowboard. This document applies to snowboard boots greater than or equal to size 15.0 in the World Shoe Size System. Alpine ski boots see ISO5355, touring ski boots see GB/T40930.
