Scope

This standard specifies the data element representation, data element model, data element catalog, data element usage and extension of consumer product traceability systems. This standard applies to consumer product traceability system database construction, data exchange and sharing. This standard does not apply to food, medicine, cosmetics, tobacco, special equipment, aircraft, ships, military products and other products.
