INTRODUTION The primary objective of this study was to complete an analysis of the 1972 API/EPA Raw Waste Load (RWL) Survey. The study included the following: 1. Review data to determine data gaps and inaccuracies. 2. Develop data screening procedures. 3. Analyze the RWL data in light of proposed subcategorization systems. After the initial analysis of the data it was clear that existing proposed subcategorization methods were not adequate and additional analysis of the data should be completed. This report presents both results of the initial analysis and the additional analysis of the RWL Survey data. The latter analysis developed relationships between raw waste loads and refining processing complexity.
