Scope

This standard specifies the basic requirements for the preparation, collection process and processing of human blood samples. This standard applies to the collection and processing of blood samples for biobanks and clinical and basic medical research related to human diseases. This standard does not apply to the collection and processing of blood samples for clinical diagnosis and clinical treatment.
