- This document specifies the terms and definitions, classification and basic parameters, basic requirements, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage, and quality commitments for press-fit connection coated carbon steel pipes and fittings. This document is applicable to pressure-connected coated carbon steel pipes and fittings with a nominal size not greater than DN 200 mm, a nominal pressure not greater than 1.6 MPa, an operating temperature not greater than 70°C, and the working medium being non-potable water, gas, or compressed air ( Hereinafter referred to as steel pipes and pipe fittings). This document also applies to coated carbon steel pipes and fittings for wire conduits.
