Scope

This document specifies the terms and definitions, general principles, procedures and requirements for safety assessment of finished products and raw materials for oral hygiene care products (toothpaste and mouthwash). This document is applicable to the safety assessment of finished products and raw materials of oral hygiene care products (toothpaste and mouthwash) and the risk substances they introduce. This document only applies to toothpaste and mouthwash.
