Scope

1.1 The purpose of this practice is to specify the means to be employed in the calibration of densitometers utilized in the measurement of diffuse transmission densities. 1.2 This practice applies to densitometers utilized for the measurement of processed blackand-white photographic films and plates or cast colloidal carbon tablets.
