This Recommendation specifies the requirements and test methods for instruments that are used for determining the area of leathers, hereafter called “leather-measuring instruments”. It provides standardized requirements and test procedures to evaluate the metrological and technical characteristics of a leather-measuring instrument in a uniform and traceable way.
