This part of GB/T 20975 specifies the new cuproline spectrophotometry, flame atomic absorption spectrometry and sodium thiosulfate titration method for the determination of copper content in aluminum and aluminum alloys. This section applies to the arbitration determination of copper content in aluminum and aluminum alloys. The measuring range of new cuproline spectrophotometry: 0.000 5%% to 0.012%%; the measuring range of flame atomic absorption spectrometry: 0.005 0% to 8.00%; the measuring range of sodium thiosulfate titration method: 3.00%% to 70.00 cans. Note: When the copper mass fraction is 0.005% to 0.012%, cuproline spectrophotometry is used as the arbitration inspection method; when the copper mass fraction is 3.00% to 8.00%, flame atomic absorption spectrometry is used as the arbitration inspection method.
