Scope

Guidance for the Use of Avionics and Software in Simulators is intended to simplify the additional functions required of avionics equipment used in simulators. Recommended simulator functions, data base harmonization, use of snapshot functions, and a new training scenario are included. The guidelines contained in the draft are expected to reduce the cost to design and install avionics equipment in simulators.
