Scope

Except for the following provisions, this chapter of GB/T 3883.1-2014 applies. Addition: This document applies to movable table saws with: --- a single saw blade with teeth; or --- a stacked saw blade for sawing a single groove or a single groove; or --- a forming tool. For sawing wood and similar materials, plastics and non-ferrous metals other than magnesium and having a blade diameter between 105 mm and 315 mm, hereinafter simply referred to as saws or tools. This document does not apply to table saws for sawing other metals such as magnesium, steel and iron. This document does not apply to table saws with automatic feeders. This document does not apply to saws using abrasive wheels. Note 101: GB/T 3883.311 applies to saws with grinding wheels used as cutting machines. This document does not apply to table saws with more than one shaft, for example, these shafts are used to mount scoring blades.
