- Scope
- This standard applies to glass that has been tempered or combined with other materials to reduce the risk of injury when the glass is cracked or broken by thrown objects or fragments. It specifies the requirements for safety glass, intended to be used primarily for doors and adjacent glass panels, and especially for glazed doors in interior and exterior corridors, for (combination) storm doors, patio doors, shower and tub doors and enclosures.
