Scope: This International Standard gives a nomenclature of milling cutters in English and in French. To facilitate understanding of this document, certain terms relating to milling are given first. NOTE - In addition to terms used in two of the official ISO languages (English and French), this International Standard gives the equivalent terms in German and Italian languages (see annex); these have been included at the request of ISO Technical Com-mittee 29, and are published under the responsibility of the member bodies for Germany (DIN) and Italy (UNI).
