This section specifies the requirements for double-painted Class 180 enameled copper round wire. The primer layer is based on polyurethane resin. If the chemical properties of the original resin can be retained and all the requirements specified for the enameled copper round wire are met, the Resins can be modified. The topcoat layer is based on polyamide resin with a wear-resistant layer. Note: Modified resin is a resin that has been chemically changed or contains one or more additives to improve its certain performance or usage characteristics. Class 180 represents the thermal class, which requires a minimum temperature index of 180 and a thermal shock temperature of at least 200°C. The Celsius temperature corresponding to the temperature index is not the recommended operating temperature for enameled copper round wire, as this depends on many factors including the type of equipment used.
