- This standard specifies the testing principles, reagents or materials for determining the content of titanium dioxide (TiO2), silicon dioxide (SiO2), aluminum oxide (Al2O3) and iron oxide (Fe2O3) in titanium dioxide pigments using X-ray fluorescence spectroscopy. Instruments and equipment, samples, test procedures, test data processing, precision and test reports, etc. This standard is applicable to the determination of the above four specific oxides with a content of more than 0.005% in titanium dioxide pigments. The determination of other types of oxides can also refer to this standard.
