Scope: This document describes the non-flexing impulse test method for rubber or plastics hydraulic hose assemblies at high and low impulse pressures. The high-pressure test pressure is greater than 3 MPa, and the low-pressure test pressure is between 1.5 MPa and 3 MPa. This document applies to hydraulic hose assemblies whose product requirements include those that are subject to impulse pressure in use. Note: The flexural hydraulic impulse test procedure is given in ISO6802.
