Scope

This standard specifies the timing, assessment agency, basic requirements for assessment, technical requirements and information management requirements for the extended service life safety assessment of liquefied petroleum gas cylinders (hereinafter referred to as "cylinders"). This standard is applicable to the safety assessment of extended service life of cylinders designed and manufactured in accordance with GB 5842 "Liquefied Petroleum Gas Cylinders" and shipped after 2007.
