This International Standard specifies the minimum requirements for industrial light boxes used for viewing radiographic images. The function of the light box is that radiographic images can be viewed. The light box must guarantee the same safety for persons as for an electrical appliance with maximum voltage, insulation and earthing required by corresponding electrotechnical safety standards in the country where they are used.
