Scope
What is BS EN 17163 ‒ Primary aromatic amines in a water extract about?    BS EN 17163 is an international standard that deals with all the information regarding pulp, paper, and board industries.   BS EN 17163 specifies two representative methods for the determination of the extractable amount of specific primary aromatic amines (PAA) in a water extract of paper, board, and pulp samples. It uses the means of HPLC with MS/MS detection which differ concerning the choice of the mobile and stationary phases.   BS EN 17163 gives the extractable amount of a primary aromatic amine (PAA), that is expressed in mg PAA per litre water extract. This method is suitable for the determination of PAA with a working range of about 0.001 mg/l – 0.020 mg/l water extract.    Who is BS EN 17163  ‒ Primary aromatic amines in a water extract for?   BS EN 17163 on p rimary aromatic amines in a water extract is for the following
