This document specifies the terms and definitions, classification and labeling, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, markings, packaging, transportation and storage of gas phase powder microporous insulation products (referred to as microporous products). This document applies to microporous thermal insulation products of fumed silica or fumed alumina powder, including microporous plates, microporous tube shells and flexible microporous products.
