- The content of harmful substances in furniture is an important quality indicator. Almost all current furniture product standards set forth requirements for the limits of harmful substances in furniture. The regulations for the same materials in different standards are basically the same, but there are also contradictions, which creates problems for production and manufacturing. It has caused certain troubles to standards-using institutions and personnel such as manufacturers and testing institutions. At the same time, these requirements are repeatedly listed in each standard, adding unnecessary workload to standard writing. Therefore, in order to solve the consistency between standards and avoid the problems of repetitive work and complicated and lengthy standards, it is of great significance to formulate this standard as the basic universal standard of the Shenzhen Furniture Industry Association's group standard system.
