DBS45/ 024-2016 Local Food Safety Standard Sour Buffalo Milk DBS45/ 024-2016 Local Food Safety Standard Sour Buffalo Milk This standard specifies the terms and definitions, technical requirements, hygienic requirements for production and processing, inspection methods, and inspection of sour buffalo milk. Rules and labeling, marking, packaging, transportation, storage and shelf life. This standard applies to products made from raw buffalo milk, sterilized, and fermented by inoculation with Streptococcus thermophilus and Lactobacillus bulgaricus (Lactobacillus delbrueckii subsp. bulgaricus) or other lactic acid bacteria permitted by the state.
