Scope

This document specifies the terms and definitions for ultrasonic testing of interface defects in bimetallic metallurgical composite pipes, general requirements, reference sample pipes, ultrasonic testing equipment calibration, ultrasonic testing methods, acceptance and ultrasonic testing reports and archiving. This document is applicable to ultrasonic detection of interface defects in bimetallic metallurgical composite pipes.
