This procedure is formulated in order to reasonably and effectively utilize liquid slag as fine aggregate for concrete, ensure project quality, and reduce project costs. This procedure is applicable to the design and construction of concrete cushions and surface layers in port roads and yard projects, and concrete protective blocks and breast walls in breakwater and cofferdam projects; when used in reinforced concrete, it must be verified by testing.
