This document describes the partial discharge detection of electrical equipment based on optical fiber sensors, including: terms and definitions, detection principles, optical fiber partial discharge sensing system structure and main component parameters, debugging and technical requirements of the sensing system. This document applies to power transformers with voltage levels of 110kV and above and gas-insulated metal-enclosed switchgear (GIS) with voltage levels of 72.5kV and above.
